Reflections on the White Raven

I am humbled to share this art with you, it demonstrates my gratitude for my connection with Elisabeth Strain and her beautiful family. The beauty of this trickster celebrates our relationship.

I sought the opportunity to take this picture for about two years. I will not recount to you what happened over those years. I will not recite the story of the raven stealing the sun - you can google that.

I confirm that the white raven has been a master of quantum physics since our universe was but a possibility. Before stardust.

The supernatural is old and familiar to her & to many of us.

She has always known that time is not a straight line, it is a maze overlapping itself - jumping ahead and falling behind but perfectly in sync.

She thinks it’s funny that humans feel like they are running out of time or that there aren’t enough hours in the day.

Lawyers are particularly hilarious to her. Measuring time in 6 minute blocks makes her chuckle and brings her joy in a cheeky way.

Did she steal or liberate the sun?

Two contradicting yet accurate truths can co-exist.

How is that you might ask?

She doesn’t ask, she just knows.

She is an infinite and eternal soul wrapped in feathers, comfortable in the multi-dimensional world. She represents our best selves.

I hope that she brings you joy, a cheeky internal tricksiness & a serene comfort with the supernatural.
